Ziv Vosberg, LMFT

Hi, I’m Ziv (pronounced “zeev” previously Ziv Elgar), and I’m a passionate and intuitive psychotherapist. My work is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and collaboration. I earned my MA in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University and completed my clinical internship at Exodus Recovery, where I focused on dual diagnosis treatment—supporting individuals navigating both substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges. During that time, I also worked in a residential program for adolescents with eating disorders, providing individual, group, and family therapy.

I have experience working with children, teens, and adults facing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, addiction, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. I also work with couples—both married and dating—to strengthen their relationships through honesty, trust, and mutual understanding.

My therapeutic approach is derived from Narrative Therapy, Humanistic Psychology, Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Psychodynamic techniques. I tailor each session to the unique needs and goals of my patients, always aiming to create a space that fosters insight, healing, and personal growth.

A unique aspect of my practice is incorporating the Japanese philosophy of Kintsugi, which embraces the beauty in imperfection and the strength that comes from healing. I help my clients let go of expectations, comparisons, and self-doubt—guiding them toward a more authentic and empowered self.
